Ten winters into the Alps from Grenoble.
Since 2016 we have held Grenoble Alpes-Isère (GNB) every winter Saturday of the charter season. Ten years of meeting UK ski charters rolling out through the arrivals hall, of receiving business-aviation Falcons on the north-side apron, and of running the drive from GNB north-east to the four Alpine resorts we service: Val d'Isère, Courchevel, Val Thorens and Megève.
What comes next is the drive. From GNB the A48 heads north to Voreppe, the A41 climbs to Chambéry, and the A43 Tarentaise crosses Albertville to Moûtiers. From Moûtiers the mountain D-roads branch: RD902 south-east for Val d'Isère, RD1090 north-east for Courchevel, RD117 south-east for Val Thorens. To Megève, the A40 Autoroute Blanche takes us out via Sallanches junction 21. Two hours fifteen to Courchevel and Val Thorens in dry conditions; two hours thirty to Val d'Isère and Megève. Every car in the fleet — V-Class 4MATIC, S-Class, Range Rover Vogue — runs winter tyres from November to April, chains on board when the passes require them.
GNB is a seasonal charter airport. Business hours contract outside the ski calendar and the passenger mix shifts — but the drive to the four resorts is our road all year, and we hold GNB every day the field is open. Off-season arrivals route through LSGG (Geneva) or LFLL (Lyon), and we run the same corridor.
Private chauffeur (VTC) registered on the French EVTC roll, licensed for airport transfers across Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Chauffeurs bilingual English and French, on WhatsApp 24/7 from the last week of November to the closure of the Tarentaise passes in late April.
