The flight from Cannes to Nice Côte d'Azur Airport takes approximately 7 minutes, departing from Quai du Large helipad or Cannes-Mandelieu Airport (CEQ). By comparison, the same journey by road takes a minimum of 45 minutes — and significantly longer during the Cannes Film Festival or Cannes Lions.
We operate from two departure points in Cannes: the Quai du Large helipad, located directly on the harbour within walking distance of La Croisette and the major waterfront hotels; and Cannes-Mandelieu Airport (IATA: CEQ), 8 km west of the city, which offers a dedicated VIP terminal with direct tarmac access — ideal for connections with private or commercial flights.
During the Cannes Film Festival, the D6007 coastal road and the A8 motorway regularly experience delays of 45 to 90 minutes. The helicopter is the only reliable way to reach Nice Airport, Monaco, or Saint-Tropez on schedule. We strongly recommend booking at least 72 hours in advance during the Festival period.
The flight from Cannes to Saint-Tropez takes approximately 15 minutes. By road in summer, the same journey via the D559 typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours. This is one of the most popular routes on the French Riviera — ideal for a day trip, a superyacht connection, or an evening in the Gulf.
