Baroness Noémie de Rothschild chose Megève in 1921 for a reason: an alpine village that keeps its village feel — elegant without being austere, sophisticated without ever turning into an industrial resort. A century later, the same principle holds. You come to Megève to move slowly, to let the day unfold rather than to run it. Our hourly hire is built around that rhythm. Same chauffeur, same car, at your disposal for as long as you choose — he waits at the chalet, drives you where you are heading, waits again, and takes you home.
In winter, that might mean a morning at the Mont d'Arbois cable car, a lunch at 1920, an afternoon on the sun-warmed terraces of Rochebrune and a late dinner at Flocons de Sel. In summer, a first tee at the Mont d'Arbois course, an afternoon on the polo grounds at La Livraz during the Polo Master Tour or trackside at the Jumping International, and a table at La Table de l'Alpaga after nightfall. The mechanics are straightforward: three-hour minimum, hourly rate agreed in writing before departure, booking by WhatsApp at any hour. The itinerary is yours to invent — we handle everything that sits underneath it.
A morning at Mont d'Arbois or Rochebrune with a return to the chalet before lunch, or the mirror-image afternoon on the pistes followed by dinner in the village. Four hours is the shape of a single-focus half-day — one destination, one lunch, one clean stop. Your chauffeur stays with the car; you keep the key.
The signature Megève day. Mont d'Arbois in the morning for the cable car or the golf course, an altitude lunch at 1920 or La Table de l'Alpaga, an afternoon reaching Combloux, Praz-sur-Arly or the Val d'Arly, and a run down to Saint-Gervais before dinner. Chamonix is one hour away by the same chauffeur, on the same day, at the same rate.
The peak weekend has its own logic. Ski gear stowed in advance, luggage handled without a scene, chalet check-in coordinated with the concierge — and a driver who has run the A40 through Sallanches every winter since 2016. He knows which junction to take when the RD1212 backs up at Combloux and where the switch-over lay-by is when Saint-Gervais empties at the same hour.
Dinner at Flocons de Sel in Leutaz, at 1920 up on Mont d'Arbois, at La Table de l'Alpaga, at Chalet Zannier's table. Chauffeur at the door of your chalet or your palace, waits during the meal at the ready, brings you home. No taxi search at midnight in the snow, no walking down an icy road in evening shoes.
Every hourly hire is quoted individually — the vehicle (V-Class 4MATIC, S-Class 2026, Range Rover Vogue), the duration, the itinerary, the number of passengers, luggage and ski gear. Our fleet runs on winter tyres from November through April; every route is planned around road closures and weather. See the full hourly-hire service →
Request my quoteMegève has a rare geography for a mountain resort: village-entry at 1,100 m, no last-kilometre climb, no altitude pass to clear, no last-minute switchbacks under snow. From Geneva, Annecy Mont-Blanc, Chambéry or Lyon, the route drops into the village floor via the same corridor — Sallanches exit 21 on the A40 Autoroute Blanche, then the RD1212 through Combloux, arriving at village height with tyres still warm. Our chauffeurs know each approach under a Saturday-of-February snowfall and under a clear spring sky, track your inbound flight from wheels-down (commercial or private) and adjust the itinerary in real time when a road closes or a weather window shifts. The private transfer Geneva → Megève remains the most requested route.
The busiest international hub for Megève. Long-haul connections through Zurich and direct routes from every major European capital, from a red-eye out of New York to a mid-morning arrival from the Gulf. Straightforward transit on the A40 Autoroute Blanche past Bellegarde and Cluses to Sallanches exit 21, then the RD1212 through Combloux. The border crossing is a formality in our fleet.
See the Geneva → Megève transfer page →The closest airport to Megève, and the discreet arrival. A small terminal serves a light regional-jet mix and a growing private-aviation flow — you go from steps to seat in minutes. The route runs due east on the A41 to the A40 Autoroute Blanche, exits at Sallanches 21 and drops into the village via Combloux on the RD1212. Ideal for a private-jet arrival, a Paris connection or a light regional flight from London City.
See the Annecy → Megève transfer page →The winter charter hub for the northern Alps. Seasonal weekend flights from London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Brussels. The route follows the A43 north-east, joins the A430 through Ugine into the Val d'Arly, and merges with the A40 Autoroute Blanche at Sallanches. The 1h10 drive time holds even at peak Saturday changeover — the A430 corridor is your reliable option when the A41 saturates.
See the Chambéry → Megève transfer page →The natural arrival point for a long-haul flight. Direct services from New York, Dubai, Doha, Montreal, San Francisco. Motorway route on the A43 east to Chambéry, then the A40 Autoroute Blanche through the Val d'Arly to Sallanches. Transit time holds even on a first-Saturday-of-February snowfall — the corridor is entirely motorway to Sallanches, and the RD1212 is a short final segment.
See the Lyon → Megève transfer page →The rail arrival for Megève, and the one to consider seriously. Direct TGV services from Paris Gare de Lyon in around 5h 30, with connecting Eurostar from London St Pancras via Paris. Our chauffeur meets you on the platform with a name-board, handles the ski cases and drives you into the village via the RD1212 through Combloux — fifteen minutes door-to-door. No motorway, no border formality, no jet-lag to absorb.
Our regulars talk about the winter roads we take with them from Geneva to Rochebrune, and the summer runs to the polo grounds on the Mont d'Arbois.
"We called at 22:40 from Airelles Val d'Isère — snow was starting to fall on the Iseran and our jet had been rerouted to Chambéry. Nicolas was outside our door at 22:52 with a V-Class already warmed. He knew the RD902 salt-truck schedule better than the concierge."
"Three winters in a row with Leader in Val d'Isère. Always the same chauffeur. He knows our daughter's name, the shortcut that avoids the Saturday changeover jam at La Daille, and he always keeps a blanket for her in the Range Rover."
"The Bourg-Saint-Maurice pickup at midnight is what makes them different. Our Eurostar Snow Train arrived late — nobody else was answering. Their driver had been waiting since 23:15, standing on the platform with a hot coffee."
Meeting points, chalet drop-off, winter equipment, Saturday changeover, cancellation — the essentials to prepare your Megève arrival.

The Mercedes V-Class carries up to six passengers with their full ski equipment — skis, boots and cabin luggage — loaded through the tailgate and secured for the mountain roads. For larger parties or oversized items such as snowboard bags or additional boot bags, we suggest a second vehicle in convoy so nothing has to ride on your lap.
Yes. We provide baby seats and booster seats at no extra charge — please specify your child's age and weight when booking so we equip the vehicle before your arrival. Seats are cleaned between services, certified to European standards, installed by the chauffeur and available on every vehicle in the fleet.

Send the cancellation request on WhatsApp for immediate processing. For weather-related force majeure — closed roads, cancelled flights, resort access blocked — we work with you on a case-by-case basis.
Peak weeks in Megève — Christmas, New Year, February holidays, Polo Master Tour, Rolex tournament — fill fast. Booking at least a week in advance is recommended to guarantee vehicle availability, particularly for the Mercedes V-Class on family transfers. For same-week or last-minute requests, WhatsApp us directly and we do our best to allocate a vehicle.
Yes. We handle the Megève → Zermatt cross-border transfer year-round.
