Ten years at Annecy Mont-Blanc.

Half the enquiries that reach us the week before a Megève arrival begin the same way: the client's assistant writes "Geneva", the flight plan reads NCY. Business-aviation crews route to Annecy Mont-Blanc when GVA slot availability tightens on a Friday afternoon in February, or when a Falcon prefers the shorter runway approach over the Cointrin queue. NCY is a private aerodrome — no arrivals hall, no coffee kiosk, one handler and a signed release.

Fifteen minutes after the wheels stop, the V-Class is on the A41 southbound spur, joining the A40 at Bonneville, exiting at Sallanches junction 21 for Megève. The road climbs the last ten minutes through Combloux; in January the chauffeur carries chains and knows the chalet syndics on the Rochebrune side by name. In summer the same run reverses — Megève owners fly in for the polo, the golf, or the Rolex tournament week, and we cross the Sallanches junction with the ski bags replaced by garment bags.

From NCY we hold direct transfers to the four Alpine destinations we service year-round: Megève (45 min), Val d'Isère (2h30 via A41 / A430 / RD902), Courchevel (2h via A41 / A43 / RD1090), and Val Thorens (2h15 via A41 / A430 / RD117). The Tarentaise corridor is our home ground; every car in the fleet — V-Class 4MATIC, S-Class, Range Rover Vogue — runs winter tyres from November to April, chains on board when the passes require them.

Private chauffeur (VTC) registered on the French EVTC roll. We hold Annecy Mont-Blanc every day of the ski season, and the Geneva alternate every day of the year for guests bound for the Alps.

Our difference

Four certainties at Annecy Mont-Blanc.

Local team, planeside meet, direct road to the four resorts, weather alternates — the same protocol every peak Saturday since 2016.

Local team since 2016
Every chauffeur on our NCY roster has run the Annecy → Alps corridor for at least three winters. They know the A40 exit for Megève, the RD902 climb to Val d'Isère, and which chalet syndics on Rochebrune to call ahead.
Fleet Mercedes 2026
Every car in the fleet — V-Class 4MATIC, S-Class 2026, Range Rover Vogue — runs winter tyres from November to April. Chains on board when the passes require them.
WhatsApp 24/7
Send us your tail number and PPR window on the day of arrival. We reply on WhatsApp inside the hour, every hour of the season, whether the aircraft is on time or delayed.
GVA alternate on divert
If the crew re-routes to Geneva (LSGG) or Chambéry (LFLB) for weather or slot reasons, we reposition without re-quoting and complete the drive to the resort.
Business aviation

Business aviation arrivals at Annecy Mont-Blanc.

NCY is not a commercial airport. No jet bridge, no baggage belt, no arrivals hall to walk through. Traffic into Annecy Mont-Blanc is business aviation — Gulfstreams, Falcons, Globals, Citations, and the odd Pilatus off the short runway. The handler moves the aircraft onto the briefed apron slot, and your chauffeur is standing ten metres from the door before the airstairs are chocked.

The tail number reaches us the day before. From the operator, from the client's assistant, or from the FBO on the field itself — whichever channel, we have it before you take off, and we pass it to the chauffeur alongside the ETA, the handler on the field, and the aircraft category. He drives out to the airfield, clears the handler-side gate, and picks up the apron slot on the briefing before you break the cloud over the Bauges. Wheels-down is tracked on the tail number, not on the itinerary. A slot pushed forty minutes by a westerly over the lake does not re-open the rate — same fixed transfer, same driver on the same apron, ten metres further left or right depending on where the handler parks the aircraft.

Luggage moves at the foot of the aircraft. The handler transfers the cases directly from the hold to the trunk of the vehicle, you step down from the stair, and the walk between the airframe and the rear door is measured in metres. No arrivals crowd, no baggage belt to wait for, no taxi queue — because there is no taxi rank. The car pulls off the apron, exits through the handler's gate, and joins the D14 within minutes. A family with wardrobe cases and a governess rides in the V-Class 4MATIC. A partner off a solo Citation with a cabin bag and a laptop takes the S-Class 2026. The Range Rover Vogue rolls in on the same winter tyres when the client asks for it by name.

Why Annecy over Geneva for the Alpine season. The approach is shorter, the holding pattern lighter, the slot queue on a Saturday in February nothing like what LSGG carries. Landing at Annecy Mont-Blanc puts you at the edge of the Mont-Blanc massif; from the airfield, Megève reads as forty-five minutes on the road, Courchevel under two hours. A quieter arrival, a shorter transfer, and no border kerb to cross into France on the way to resort.

Alpine transfers

From NCY to the four Alpine destinations.

Four resorts sit within two hours of the Annecy Mont-Blanc apron. The car runs winter tyres from November through April, chains stow behind the third row, and the last-kilometre climb into resort is priced into the fixed transfer — no altitude surcharge, no re-quote when the RD narrows to one lane. Vehicle choice follows the number of cases in the hold.

Megève

NCY → MG · 45 min drive

Forty-five minutes from the airfield. A41 north, A40 east, junction 21 at Sallanches, then Combloux onto the plateau above the village. Four Seasons Megève on Mont d'Arbois with a private-garage entrance, Le Fer à Cheval at the village heart within walking distance of the pistes, Chalet Zannier on the eastern flank for guests who want the discretion of a chalet with the service of a hotel. The last kilometre does not climb hard — the village entry is direct.

Val d'Isère

NCY → VDI · 2h30 drive

One hour twenty via A41, A430 down the Tarentaise, RD902 to the head of the valley. Airelles Val d'Isère runs the season suites, Le K2 Chogori sits above them with hangar-height ceilings, Le Refuge de Solaise takes the guests who prefer the pistes at the door and the chair-lift from the terrace. A Saturday changeover pushes the honest arrival to an hour and a half at worst; the driver reads the ploughing window on the final ridge and adjusts the apron departure accordingly.

Courchevel

NCY → CV1850 · 2h drive

One hour forty-five via A41, A43 east through the Maurienne, then RD1090 climbing to 1850. Le K2 Palace anchors the ridge behind La Croisette, Cheval Blanc holds the position above the Bellecôte piste, Airelles Courchevel sits at the top of the village on the corner of the Jardin Alpin. PPR windows on a peak Saturday are booked with the resort the week before, not the morning of. The car pulls up at the porte-cochère; the porter meets you at the door.

Val Thorens

NCY → VT · 2h15 drive

One hour thirty via A41, A430, then RD117 climbing the Belleville valley. Val Thorens tops out at 2300 metres, the highest resort in Europe. Fahrenheit Seven takes the modern-design stays, Koh-I Nor holds the western flank with its panoramic dining rooms, Altapura commands the arrival plateau with its own ski room. The final ridge closes to soft tyres from December — every vehicle in the fleet runs winter rubber and carries chains. No transfer swap at Moûtiers, no minibus for the last climb; the chauffeur takes you the whole way up.

Divert & shoulder season

Geneva and Chambéry alternates, on divert or off-season.

NCY is a small aerodrome. Operating hours close in the evening, a winter fog off the lake occasionally forces a divert, and shoulder-season weeks compress operations on the field. When Annecy is not the arrival airport, the flight lands at Geneva sixty kilometres to the north or at Chambéry seventy-five kilometres to the south — same chauffeur, same vehicle, same standard, no re-quote for the change of airport.

Geneva takes the majority of the diverts on a winter evening. LSGG holds ILS Cat III minima on the main runway, handles late-night slots under the standard regime, and opens onto the same Alpine spine we cover from Annecy — A40 east, junction 21 at Sallanches for Megève, the descent onto A43 for the Tarentaise resorts. The border crossing at Bardonnex adds fifteen minutes to a Sunday transfer, thirty on a peak Saturday; the chauffeur folds that into the ETA before he pulls away from the FBO.

Chambéry is the alternate on a fog day when Annecy is closed and Geneva has gone to holding. LFLB sits at the mouth of the Tarentaise and shaves twenty minutes off the drive to Val d'Isère, Courchevel, and Val Thorens. In shoulder-season weeks — early November, late April — some private operators favour it over NCY for its longer runway. The transfer stays fixed; whichever field the aircraft lands at, the door-to-door price confirmed at booking is the one on the invoice.

"We called at 22:40 from Airelles Val d'Isère — snow was starting to fall on the Iseran and our jet had been rerouted to Chambéry. Nicolas was outside our door at 22:52 with a V-Class already warmed. He knew the RD902 salt-truck schedule better than the concierge."

"Three winters in a row with Leader in Val d'Isère. Always the same chauffeur. He knows our daughter's name, the shortcut that avoids the Saturday changeover jam at La Daille, and he always keeps a blanket for her in the Range Rover."

"The Bourg-Saint-Maurice pickup at midnight is what makes them different. Our Eurostar Snow Train arrived late — nobody else was answering. Their driver had been waiting since 23:15, standing on the platform with a hot coffee."

Frequently asked questions

Every recurring question.

Handler coordination, planeside meet, GVA divert, ski luggage, drive times to the four resorts — the essentials for arriving at Annecy Mont-Blanc.

01
Where do we meet our chauffeur at the airport?

In the arrivals hall, after baggage claim, inside the terminal. Your chauffeur holds a name-board (tablet), wears a professional uniform, assists with your luggage and guides you to the vehicle parked in the airport's professional pickup area.

We send you the full contact details of your assigned chauffeur no later than 3 hours before your arrival: name, phone number and WhatsApp. Your chauffeur is reachable directly on WhatsApp for any last-minute change or question, and speaks both English and French.

Yes. Our fleet is Mercedes V-Class, S-Class and Range Rover Vogue, 2025 and 2026 models, all equipped for winter conditions with 4MATIC all-wheel drive, winter tyres, and snow chains on board when the passes require them.

We track your flight from take-off and adjust the pickup time to the real landing time, whether the flight is early or delayed. Once your flight has landed we offer 60 minutes of free waiting time for commercial arrivals and 30 minutes for private aviation arrivals. No extra charge, no re-quote.

Yes. Every chauffeur on our roster is bilingual English and French, and briefed on your itinerary the day before your arrival. If you prefer to communicate in English on WhatsApp during the trip, we handle it seamlessly.

Yes. Prior to arrival we liaise with your FBO to obtain the ATA, the parking stand and any customs formality relevant to the passenger. If ramp access is granted, our chauffeur presents credentials to security and stages plane-side. If not, we receive at the terminal exit. Either way, the handoff is anticipated with the handler so nothing hinges on your crew relaying it in the moment.

We monitor your tail number and the movement is escalated to dispatch the moment a diversion is filed. From NCY we reposition to Geneva-Cointrin (GVA) or Chambéry-Savoie (CMF) without additional charge, subject to reasonable notice. The chauffeur adjusts to the new FBO, coordinates with the receiving handler, and the transfer resumes as briefed. Diversions are common in winter; we plan for them rather than react to them.

Yes. The V-Class 4MATIC accommodates skis, boots and hold luggage without compromising cabin space. From November to April the entire fleet runs on approved winter tyres, and snow chains are carried on every Alpine transfer in accordance with French mountain regulation. Chauffeurs are trained to fit chains promptly should conditions demand it on the final approach to your chalet.

On request, yes — but Chamonix is not our primary corridor. Our home ground is the four Tarentaise and Val d'Arly resorts: Megève, Val d'Isère, Courchevel and Val Thorens. Transfers to the Chamonix valley remain possible for existing principals; for regular Chamonix service we prefer to orient you toward a specialist based in the valley. Please enquire and we will position honestly.

For the February half-term corridor — Presidents' Day, London half-term, French zone weeks — we recommend confirming your transfers as soon as your flight schedule is filed, ideally six to eight weeks ahead. Peak Saturdays fill first and specific vehicle allocations narrow quickly. Late requests remain possible, though the choice of vehicle and slot flexibility diminishes. Early confirmation guarantees the pairing you prefer.

We accept bank transfer, all major cards and Amex without surcharge. For family offices, private banks and single-tail flight departments we open corporate accounts with 30-day terms, consolidated monthly invoicing in EUR, GBP, USD or CHF, and a single accounting point of contact. Confidentiality clauses can be added at onboarding. Ad-hoc principals remain welcome; recurring principals benefit from the account structure.

Yes. We provide baby seats and booster seats at no extra charge — please specify your child's age and weight when booking so we equip the vehicle before your arrival.

More than 48 hours before the service: full refund. Between 48 and 24 hours before: 50% refund. Less than 24 hours before: no refund. Send the cancellation request on WhatsApp for immediate processing.
